Description
Amstel is named after the River Amstel, which runs through Amsterdam and was used to brew the first batches of Amstel bier.
A perfect balance of taste and refreshment at 4.1% ABV, Amstel’s deep golden colour is achieved using a mixture of light and dark malt, giving the beer a unique sweet malt flavour with hints of raisin and dark fruit.
Known as the ‘Bier from Amsterdam’, Amstel was founded in Amsterdam in 1870.
