Portugal is mostly known for its wine, but they also have a long brewing history producing some great tasting Portuguese beers.
Modern breweries were established in the early 20th century, producing a few varieties of beer. Popular brands include Sagres, Super Bock and Coral.
All three Portuguese beers as associated with different parts of Portugal. For instance Sagres is associated to Lisbon, Super Bock with Porto and Coral beer with Madeira.
