The production of Singaporean beers started in 1932 when MBL brewery was established producing Tiger beer.
Since then Tiger beer remains a popular brand in Singapore as well as Anchor, another domestic beer brand.
In addition the the large commercial breweries, there has been a steady rise of microbreweries in Singapore since the 2000s creating some great tasting craft beers.
