About Amstel Brewery
Amstel Brewery was founded in 1870 by two young men, Gerard Adriaan Heineken and Hendrik Gerrit van der Werff. Named after the Amstel River, Amstel Brewery was the first Dutch brewery to export its beer to other countries. Today, Amstel Brewery is part of the Heineken International Group and produces a variety of beers, including the popular Amstel Light.
In addition to its flagship beer, Amstel Brewery produces several other types of beer, including Amstel Radler, a refreshing mixture of beer and lemon soda; Amstel Zero, a non-alcoholic beer; and Amstel Bock, a dark lager. No matter what your taste, there's an Amstel beer for you!
